headspace Wagga Wagga

What is headspace?

headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing free early intervention mental health services to young people, along with assistance in promoting their wellbeing. This covers four core areas: mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services.

You can visit headspace Wagga Wagga's Facebook page here. headspace also has an extensive website where young people and their carers can read information on a wide range of issues including depression, bullying, and relationship issues.

Who is headspace for?

You can visit headspace if you are between 12 and 25 years of age and:

  • are feeling down, stressed or worried
  • are having difficulty with something in your life
  • need help with a health issue
  • have concerns about alcohol and drugs
  • want to talk about sexual identity or relationships
  • want to discuss sexual health or find out about contraception
  • are being bullied, hurt or harassed
  • need advice about education or finding work
  • are worried about a friend or family member

What is the cost?

headspace is a free service (Medicare bulk-billed).

Where are these services provided?
